AIDS Resource & COVID-19

Effective immediately, the Williamsport and State College offices are closed. Staff will be working remotely and will continue to provide assistance. The offices will reopen on September 29.

Appointments

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AIDS Resource offices are open by appointment only. We are not accepting any walk-ins at this time.

Clients must schedule appointments with their case managers.

AIDS Resource has resumed HIV and STI testing by appointment only. Call either of our offices to schedule an appointment.

To limit the spread of COVID-19, all clients will be asked screening questions when scheduling an appointment online or via phone. Clients will call the office from their car when they arrive to be screened for symptoms of COVID-19. Staff will conduct temperature screenings upon entry to the facility. Staff and clients must wear masks at all times when in the office. If a client does not have a mask, a disposable one will be provided upon arrival to the office.

PrEP Services

PrEP services will continue per our doctor’s instruction. Condoms

AIDS Resource is offering free condom delivery to residents in our coverage area during the COVID-19 pandemic. To receive condoms, please email your name and complete mailing address to condoms@aidsresource.com. Our coverage area includes Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Snyder, and Union Counties.

Other Services

Support groups, social activities, and food pantries have been temporarily cancelled. AIDS Resource launched the Food Delivery Program at the beginning of the pandemic and this service will continue in lieu of our food pantries until further notice.
