Updated April 22, 2022

Appointments

AIDS Resource remains committed to providing services during the COVID-19 pandemic; however, there is limited testing capacity at our offices. For the Williamsport office, HIV and STI testing are available only on Tuesdays. For the State College office, STI testing is available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; HIV testing is available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please call either of our offices to schedule an appointment.

To limit the spread of COVID-19, health screening questions will be asked when scheduling an appointment online or via phone. On the day of your scheduled appointment, you will call the office from your car to answer health screening questions and then a staff member will conduct a temperature screening upon entry to the building. Everyone must wear masks at all times when in the office, regardless of vaccination status. If you do not have a mask, a disposable one will be provided upon arrival to the office. Please reschedule your appointment if you have any COVID-19 symptoms.

PrEP Services

PrEP services will continue per our doctor’s instruction. When scheduling a PrEP appointment, you will be asked COVID-19 screening questions. On the day of your scheduled appointment, you will call the office from your car to answer health screening questions. A staff member will conduct a temperature screening upon entry to the building. Everyone must wear masks at all times when in the office, regardless of vaccination status. If you do not have a mask, a disposable one will be provided upon arrival to the office.

Condoms

AIDS Resource is offering free condom delivery to residents in our coverage area during the COVID-19 pandemic. To receive condoms, please email your name and complete mailing address to condoms@aidsresource.com. Please indicate if you have a latex allergy. As a response to abide with physical distancing recommendations and prevent the transmission of COVID-19, AIDS Resource has changed its condom pick-up process. To pick-up condoms, please call the office when you arrive, stay in your car (or outside if walking), and a staff member will bring the condoms to you. Please wear a mask during the transaction.
