Prevention & Education
AIDS Resource is offering free condom delivery to residents in our coverage area during the COVID-19 pandemic. To receive condoms, please email your name and complete mailing address to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please indicate if you have a latex allergy.
As a response to abide with social distancing recommendations and prevent the transmission of COVID-19, AIDS Resource has changed its condom pick-up process. To pick-up free condoms, please call the office when you arrive, stay in your vehicle (or outside if walking), and a staff member will bring the condoms to you. Please notify the staff if you have a latex allergy and wear a mask during the transaction.
AIDS Resource offers free PrEP services to anyone who is at high risk of getting HIV. Our PrEP clinic is offered once a month at our Williamsport office. PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is a medication that HIV-negative people take to reduce their risk of getting HIV if exposed to the virus. Learn more about PrEP by clicking here.
If you are interested in taking PrEP or getting more information, please call either the Williamsport office at 570-322-8448 or the State College office at 814-272-0818 or email us at email@example.com.
AIDS Resource recently launched a program that provides PEP to survivors of sexual assault at no cost. PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) is effective in reducing the risk of getting HIV when taken within 72 hours of the potential exposure. This program is made possible by a generous grant from the Stabler Foundation.
Please call 570-322-8448 to see if you are eligible for this service.
